Women

Women over analyze things. Its in our nature. I heard a comedian on the radio that said something that almost made me pee my pants in the morning on the way to work so I figured that I would share. She said that men and women think differently. Women are detailed oriented. Men not so much. Take her and her husband for instance. She said, "For example, I know that I have combination skin. A little oily in the T-zone, a little dry around my cheeks. My husband however, knows that he has a face." I felt like this little bit of humor described it perfectly so I wanted to share.

Selfish

Men are selfish creatures. That is all.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm so frustrated right now I can't even put my thoughts into words. Liars suck. All around. Whatever their reason is. Its the easy way out. People lie when they don't have the balls to tell the truth.

Dogs.

Ever wonder what specifically dogs are looking for when they choose a spot to poop? Yeah, me too.

Incubus in Concert

So I saw Incubus in concert on wednesday night. WOW. They had a GREAT setlist (that I wish Echo would have been added to but, eh, what you gonna do?). My life is better for having seen Drive performed acoustic live. Seriously. That is all.

Mad Today

Ever had one of those days where you are just pissed off at the world? And then apparently the world figures out that you are pissed off at it and decides to have a little joky joke fun time with you by doing stuff to piss you off more. Like today, I am running errands that have to do with moving, which are errands that are already inclined to make your life less fun. So I have to go to the utility building in downtown Wilson. When I get there AFTER I have scrounged around for change to put in the parking meter, I go to the door only to see a grand sign saying, "Wilson Energy has moved to 208 W. Nash Street effective July 20th." And thus was all. No arrow pointing which direction I needed to go. No "across from the big ass BB&T downtown" extra information. Nope just a number and street address. Hello world I do not have a GPS! So I uneffectively ride up and down Nash street for the next 15 minutes noting that the addresses on one side of Nash Street are in the 100s. On the other they are in the 300s. Conundrum. I had to go to the freaking post office and get directions. Butthead utility office.

Sooo...welcome to my blog. I have wanted to start one for a long time because I am opinionated and talk a lot about a lot of random topics, so why not start a blog?

Right now I feel like I have a lot of stuff that is ABOUT to happen. Like I am ABOUT to move into an apartment with my boyfriend. It's just a weeee bit scary to me because I have never lived with a significant other before. AND we are moving into an apartment that one of my EX boyfriends used to live in with his mom. AND my boyfriend used to live with an ex in the same apartment complex (there are only like five apartments). How weird is that? But the apartment is super duper nice, and cheaper than where I live now. We just couldn't turn it down. I told my boyfriend that my condition upon moving in with him was that it wouldn't make him drag his feet on asking me to marry him. He assured me that he already had a plan in place for that. I'll let you know how that goes.

School is also ABOUT to start back in a few weeks. I am a little nervous about this year because my students have been invited to perform at the Orange Bowl in Miami Florida. This is my first time organizing this kind of trip, so I am just nervous and hope everything goes well. This year will be bittersweet because it will be my last year at Hunt for a while because I am ABOUT to go to grad school. That means I have to take the GRE. Yuck.

I am ABOUT to buy a couch. I know this doesn't seem like a big deal but it is to me, mostly because I am easily excited. Its a reclining couch. Brownish. Well I guess its more tan but whatev. AND I am getting a matching Chase lounge which I am WAY excited about. Its gonna look great in my new apartment.

Well I think that is all the personal information that I want out on the internet right now, so I will just move on to the entertainment category. I warned you before, I like to talk. And I am opinionated. And right now my opinion is that Milla Jovovitch is freaking amazing. I knew this from The 5th Element, and the first two Resident Evils, but I watched Resident Evil: Extinction yesterday. Well I actually watched it twice yesterday, but I didn't tell you that because that makes me a BIG loser. Anyhow, let's just say that she is quite the badass in that movie. And I know I have a vagina and am not really suppose to like movies that are based on video games, but who doesn't love a girl that can kick zombie ass? Like really kick zombie ass. At one point she slices a zombie from his balls up to his shoulder and THEN decapitates him. Gruesome? Check. But absolutely awesome.

And I am ABOUT to go see Incubus in Charlotte on August 12. Kick ass, I know. Well, I guess that's it for right now, thanks for your time. I will try to keep this thing updated, but sometimes I am no good at following up on things like this, I'll warn you now.
